Monday Made It - Wedding Edition

I've been MIA this week...
While everyone else is thinking about or starting school, I've officially been off for 2 weeks now, with 3 more to go.
I'm linking up with 4th Grade Frolics this week, although I don't have an actual 'Made It this Week' (shhh, don't tell ...) I thought I'd link up, because my last made it was just before the 'Big Day'

So
I GOT MARRIED last MONDAY! My 'made it' could be my wedding right?
It's been so surreal. A long year and a bit of planning and it's done.
We got married in a medieval country barn. Literally the best day ever, so cliche, but it really was.

I might be biased, but I'm pretty sure I had the BEST flowers ever
Here we go, some 'Made Its' - my sister woodburned the table numbers.
I also used old books for the centerpieces. The menu is from a previous Monday Made-It

We (okay mainly my sister and bridesmaids, but I was the 'ideas girl') made the decor and based it on kind of a vintage, rustic feel. We took a wooden pallet and strung twine across for the photos. The cards box was made from a very old piece of luggage used as a prop at school.

Okay, so once again, soooo sorry about being naughty and not putting a school Made It this week. When I'm finally allowed back into my room (September), I'll start posting some actual school things.

  3. Congratulations! What a beautiful wedding! You are totally excused; surviving your wedding is definitely a "made-it."

    1. Thanks for that. Now that is has officially been two weeks I am starting to come back down to Earth ... which means I'm starting to panic about school!
I will hopefully have a school Made-it when I get back to my room on the 2nd.

    1. Thanks Jennifer. Living near the English countryside, I wanted to have a very 'English' wedding for my family and friends that came out, so the barn was a natural choice.
